Peter’s Legacy

A Tribute Page

Peter Sands Tibone was the founder and pillar of Faithrunner Ministries. Prior to his untimely death, Peter acted as Chairman of The Board.

It was Peter who had taken Annie under his wing fresh from the streets of Hollywood, California and two years later pledged his life in marriage to her.

Prior to embracing a solo career in contemporary Christian music,

Annie toured with a full band singing and speaking in prisons, youth detention centers, nursing homes, parks, and churches. Peter was the bass guitarist.

Peter built the Faithrunner recording studio acting as chief engineer. He was the creative mind behind some of Annie’s best music.

He helped produce Annie’s popular radio show “The Journey” and often joined her as a guest on the program from 2013 to 2018.

Annie’s powerful testimony, as we know it, may never have been a reality without God positioning Peter in Annie’s life at a precise moment in history.

In November 2015, Peter underwent emergency brain surgery. He continued to heal throughout 2016 and was well on his way to recovery when in late December (Christmas) 2017, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a rare, aggressive, and incurable bone marrow cancer. He was given two to four months to live.

During Peters initial hospital stay, Annie slept in a window seat in his room for thirty two days.  Annie spent the next twelve and a half months caring for him in their home.

Annie never tired from caring for the love of her life.

On January 3rd, 2019, Annie held Peter in her arms in their bed as he took his last breath on earth and opened his eyes in Heaven.

After a four year sabbatical, Annie is stepping forward with perseverance and strength of character, left with the sweet memories of the man who forever changed her life.
